twofour54 campus partner, Lamsa World, recently launched a new version of its award-winning app, Lamsa, featuring a new user interface and experience, advanced use of augmented reality, education-related themes, and an introduction to Lamsa's very own loveable characters.
Since the initial launch of the app in 2013, the content has been accessed over 320 million times. Lamsa's success has been down to consolidating ingenuity with creativity, and using technology as a tool to unlock innovation in children through Arabic literature.

| Theeb nominated for Best Foreign Language Film award at the 2016 Oscars |

SANAD funded film, Theeb, has been nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Foreign Language Film category.
A recipient of both SANAD's development and post-production grants, Theeb, was one of only five projects – and the only Arab film - to be nominated from 82 submissions. Directed by Jordanian Naji Abu Nowar, Theeb's Oscar nomination comes as testament to the impact Arab filmmakers are having in the international film industry.

| 30 locations in 40 days: twofour54 welcomes Bollywood film 'Dishoom' |
|
twofour54 recently welcomed Bollywood blockbuster Dishoom to Abu Dhabi. With 40 filming days scheduled, Dishoom will be Abu Dhabi's longest feature filming project to date.
In a nod to Abu Dhabi's unique and varied locations as well as the ease of accessibility from India, the majority of filming for Dishoom will take place in the Capital. In excess of 90 cast and crew will be involved in the shoot, as well as a number of Emiratis who are taking up opportunities to intern on the production. The Abu Dhabi locations that will serve the film's storyline include Nurai, Saadiyat and Yas Islands, as well as Emirates Palace, Sheikh Zayed Stadium and Liwa Dessert.
