| Flat6Labs celebrated its first year anniversary since launching the initiative at the Abu Dhabi Media Summit in November 2014. Supported by twofour54, Flat6Labs has helped position Abu Dhabi as a premier hub for launching and growing digital media startups from around the globe. Flat6Labs Abu Dhabi was awarded the "Best Startup Accelerator of the Year" prize by ArabianBusiness.com's 2015 Startup Awards. Flat6Labs Abu Dhabi's accelerator model has proven successful with over 530 companies from more than 50 countries applying to join the program in its first year with hopes of launching their companies at twofour54, seven new startups were successfully launched and another seven are participating in the current cycle of the programme. |

| Full-service performance marketing and advertising agency, mesasix, launched their new office in the heart of the media zone at twofour54 in Abu Dhabi. mesasix has also welcomed twofour54 to the ranks of their prestigious client portfolio as part of their expansion plans in MENA. Through this partnership, twofour54 will benefit from mesasix' custom iOS mobile workforce application which is available for iPad and iPhone at the Apple Store. The twofour54 branded application allows the business development and sales teams to have access to twofour54 collaterals including presentations, documents and media files on the go. Equally important is the ability to access those collaterals even when there is no network connectivity. The application will also allow the teams to take a picture of a business card and have it stored locally on the device for later use with an email follow up campaign when appropriate. mesasix has quickly built unprecedented relationships in many industry verticals and works with some of the biggest names in the industry, such as AT&T and Yellow Pages Holdings. |

The event was brought to the UAE capital by twofour54 in partnership with Etihad Airways and Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority and The Walt Disney Company. | O3 Productions signs deal with twofour54 | ||
|
||
| We are pleased to announce a three-year deal signed between twofour54 and O3 Productions that will secure an additional 300 production days a year to Abu Dhabi and see more Arabic dramas produced in the Capital destined to broadcast on MBC channels as well as the Gulf and Arab drama market. The agreement will see O3 undertake pre-production, production and post-production in the Emirate, utilise twofour54's government and travel services, and benefit from Abu Dhabi Film Commission's 30% production rebate scheme. O3 will also establish a base for its operations at Abu Dhabi's twofour54 campus and a backlot for the production company's use, which will further add to Abu Dhabi's growing production infrastructure. |

| During the UAE's 44th National Day, we have launched a campaign to give back to the local community and to celebrate our nation's unity in purpose, values, and ambitions. The campaign was launched on November 26th under the title "#United4UAE" to devote 2,454 volunteer hours to community organisations and charities including "Emirates Red Crescent", "Wanna Read" initiative, and "Special Care Center". The campaign allows twofour54 staff, campus partners, freelancers to participate to help twofour54 reach it 2,454 hours goal. Participants can log their volunteer hours and share stories, images and videos of their experience on a dedicated microsite which is also available for the public to view at www.united4uae.com. Our CEO, Noura Al Kaabi paid the children of the Sheikh Khalifa Medical City a visit with Star Wars' Stormtroopers on Dec 17th in support of the "Wanna Read?" initiative where she joined the kids on a story-reading session. | In commemoration of the UAE's National Day, twofour54 held a fun-filled event to celebrate 44 years of unity, growth and advancement with staff, partners, family and friends. The event featured a live police band performance and activities for kids including camel riding in addition to a live music and traditional dance show while attendees enjoyed delicious Emirati food provided by Meylas food truck. |
